Series Synopsis

Set in a small Appalachian town full of long-buried memories, lingering spirits, and dark promises left unpaid, this story follows a group of estranged friends drawn back together to pay their final respects. However, they soon discover that the secret magic of their youth came with a terrible price—and the "owe" they made in the woods all those summers ago is finally coming due.

An eldritch cosmic horror tale in an alternate early 1900s Appalachia, it explores tight-knit communities strained by industrial mining and the ancient entities beneath the mountains, balancing deep dread with hardship, hope, and the cost of forbidden knowledge.

About the System
